Bournemouth·Manager·Andoni Iraola said his side need to give up some control in matches to improve their creative output and solve their scoring problems. The comments came ahead of Bournemouth's weekend trip to Crystal Palace, which is being shown live on Sky Sports. Iraola's remarks focus on the need to take more risks in the final third to create chances. The match at Selhurst Park gives his team an opportunity to test that approach away from home.
Why it mattersBournemouth, eighth on 12 points after nine games, have scored 14 and conceded 13, so Iraola's call for more creativity at Crystal Palace addresses a real gap despite their five-match winning run.
