Manchester United·Manager·Manchester United are unlikely to appoint another interim head coach if they decide to replace Michael Carrick in the coming weeks, Sky Sports News has been told. The club would instead be expected to look for a permanent successor rather than place another caretaker in charge. The development comes as the club weighs its options over Carrick's position.
Why it mattersWhy it matters: United sit 17th with 7 points from 9 games, 17 behind leaders Arsenal, and have conceded 15 times, so a permanent appointment would be a major long-term decision.
